Position ScopeThis position is responsible for the development of long and short-term mine plans, mine plans designs, geological services, environmental compliance and permitting, the quality control lab, and provide or coordinate engineering services to support the coal processing and maintenance facilities as needed in accordance with overall company objectives. The position is responsible for developing the Mine’s budget and life of mine plans. The position is responsible for the mentoring and development of department personnel. The incumbent will work closely with Mine Management to ensure engineering plans support the safe and cost-efficient operation of the mine. The incumbent will assume other duties and responsibilities as may be required.
